    Boomerangs are not only returning.

For hunting large animals, such as kangaroos, the Australian Aborigines preferred to use non-returning boomerangs. They are curved to a lesser extent and longer (up to a meter or more), and they are thrown almost horizontally. When properly thrown, such a boomerang hits the ground at some distance from the target and bounces into it.

    Boomerangs are not only returning.
