Многие, кто хоть раз задумывался о покупке внедорожника, останавливал свой выбор на автомобилях фирмы Уаз – Уазе Патриоте и Уазе Хантере. Эти внедорожники очень похожи, но несколько отличаются друг от друга характеристиками. Оба они советского производства, оба отлично подходят для бездорожья и имеют запоминающийся дизайн. Отличия во внешнем виде Уаз Хантер модель, претерпевшая за 40 лет минимум изменений. Квадратный корпус цельнометаллического типа, умеренный расход топлива, неприхотливость в уходе, высокая проходимость, отличная грузоподъёмность и вместимость. Эта машина может порадовать любителей выезжать на природу, но и в городе Хантер чувствует себя неплохо. Внешний вид и поведение на бездорожье Уаз Патриот довольно громоздкая, неповоротливая машина в городе. Но на бездорожье он меняется, становясь очень проходимым внедорожником, отлично поглощающим все неровности на дороге. Патриот славится более округлыми формами, по сравнению с Хантером, хотя многим не нравится такая форма кузова и они отдают предпочтение более старой модели. Проходимость хорошая у двух этих моделей. Но, хоть Уаз Патриот и похож на танк, на нём не страшны никакие неровности, у него жёсткая подвеска и водитель чувствует своим телом каждую выбоину. На Хантере бездорожье практически не чувствуется, машина прёт, как танк и легко проходит любые препятствия, в отличие от Патриота, который был создан с упором на городскую местность. Безопасность и комфорт По безопасности, Уаз Патриот значительно превосходит Уаз Хантер. У Патриота появились фронтальные подушки безопасности с 2017 года. Эта комплектация, конечно, увеличивает цену, но при этом снижает вероятность летального исхода при ДТП на 30%. Водителю Хантера же придётся быть более внимательным на дороге, т.к. из заноса, учитывая массу этих машин, не всегда получится выйти за счёт своего мастерства. Цена и предназначение А вот в цене выигрывает старшая модель. Цены на новый Уаз Хантер начинаются от 500 тысяч, тогда как у Патриота есть много различных комплектаций с ценниками от 700 000 до 1 200 000. Если судить по предназначению, то Патриот – экспедиционник, созданный не только для бездорожья, но и для длительной езды по трассе. На нём более комфортно ехать, в отличии от Хантера. Тогда как Хантер – лучший выбор для сурового климата и поездок по неровностям. Считается, что Уаз Патриот намного лучше Уаза Хантера, но это не совсем так. Два автомобиля различаются по назначению, и считать один лучше другого – глупо. Хотя, в большинстве случаев, люди предпочитают более современный Патриот Уазу Хантеру.

I got the opportunity to photograph this impressive bull last week when he wandered from his grazing area to bed down under the trees. There was a young bull in the area with a missing antler who would run up to the him, briefly lock up his single antler, and then playfully run off like a dog. I suspect these bulls were related but there is no way to confirm that. Either way, this giant certainly had the patience of a father and seemed to play along with him.

This is a close up shot from my living room window in Ancient Olympia, Greece. I have a five month old daughter who adores birds and looking at them got me pondering. Most of them are migratory birds and I am about to embark on a similar move. This is not my hometown, I moved here two and a half years ago, this was essentially the first place I rented. I came here single and in a matter of two months I got married and a year later I got pregnant. A number of adversities have come my way, the harshest of which is my current state of unemployment. We have decided to move to a place far away from here, to my grandmother's place. It's a small cottage but it will be our home by the sea on a Greek island.
