Дикий зверь несколько дней разоряет курятники и убивает домашний скот, жители Серебрянска Восточно-Казахстанской области напуганы - медведя не удалось отпугнуть от жилых домов, а застрелить его по закону нельзя. Первые заявления от жителей на то, что зверь выходит на улицы города начали поступать в акимат Серебрянска еще 27 мая. Первыми жертвами хищника стали куры, кролики и овцы. По рассказам местных жителей, зверь не реагирует на шум, не боится людей и не собирается покидать черту города. Медведь не дает покоя жителям города в Восточном Казахстане Горожане бьют тревогу - зверь выходит на охоту по ночам, забирается во дворы частных домов. Что будет, если ему на пути попадется человек, такими вопросами засыпают они полицию и акимат. Но местные чиновники принять радикальные методы не могут - убить косолапого нельзя, так как охота сейчас запрещена. Весной лимит на отстрел медведей был исчерпан, теперь по закону застрелить его могут только осенью. Но горожане столько времени ждать не могут и жить с опасным соседом не хотят. Оружие допустимо нарезное или гладкоствольное (калибр не менее 16), для рысей — снаряженное пулей или картечью. Национальная академия наук будет определять, сколько особей можно изъять, чтобы не нарушить баланс популяции. В 2025 году квота составит 3–5% от общей численности: 30–50 медведей и 50–70 рысей.
