Judge Issues Injunction Blocking Wisconsin Fall Wolf Hunt A judge on Friday (10/22/2021) halted Wisconsin's fall wolf season two weeks before hunters were set to take to the woods, siding with wildlife advocacy groups who argued holding the hunt would be unconstitutional. Dane County Circuit Judge Jacob Frost issued a temporary injunction halting the season, which was set to begin November 6. The order comes as part of a lawsuit that a coalition of wildlife advocacy groups filed in August seeking to stop the hunt and invalidate a state law authorizing annual seasons. Among other things, the coalition argued that the season is illegal because the (Wisconsin) Department of Natural Resources hasn't updated its regulations setting season parameters, and has been relying on an emergency rule put in place shortly after then-Gov. Scott Walker signed a law in 2012 authorizing annual seasons and a wolf-management plan that hasn't been updated since 2007. Frost said the law creating the wolf season is constitutional on its face, but that the DNR failed to create permanent regulations enacting it. The law gives the DNR great leeway in setting kill limits, hunting-zone hours and the number of licenses, making it all the more important that the department follow the regulatory process to ensure it doesn't violate the separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches, Frost said. "I'm not overruling the wolf-hunt law. In fact, I'm saying it has to be enforced as it was written and intended," Frost said. "The DNR is currently not following the law or following the constitution. Its decisions are built on a faulty basis, meaning they can't stand, either." The judge said the injunction will remain in place until the DNR implements updated regulations on determining quotas and the number of licenses it issues, and updates its wolf-management plan with new wolf-population goals for the state. Hannah Jurss, an assistant attorney general representing the DNR in the case, asked Frost to stay his ruling pending appeal, calling his ruling "unquestionably a dramatic decision." Frost refused, saying the DNR could still hold a season this year if it can move quickly on new regulations. DNR spokeswoman Sarah Hoye said the agency would review the injunction and had no further comment. BIEN NETTOYER SON ARME DE CHASSE 1/ NETTOYAGE DU CANON : INTÉRIEUR & EXTÉRIEUR LES ARMES À CANON BASCULANT, FUSIL ET CARABINE Il n’est pas nécessaire de procéder à un nettoyage complet de l’arme après chaque sortie de chasse. Commencez par un coup de chiffon sec sur tout le fusil, puis nettoyez les canons intérieurs comme sur une arme à canon basculant, et terminez par passer un chiffon légèrement huilé sur le canon extérieur. S'ils sont usés, il est fortement conseillé d’aller montrer son arme à un armurier. Graissez le filetage externe du choke avant le remontage à l’aide d’une graisse spécial choke. Eliminez le surplus de graisse avec un chiffon. Astuce : Pensez à vérifier à chaque nettoyage que le choke n’est pas grippé pour justement éviter ce genre de situation. Le filetage peut littéralement se " souder " et là, c'est assurément direction l'armurier. 3/ NETTOYAGE DE LA CROSSE Si vous avez une crosse en bois non vernis (poncée à l’huile), passez un produit spécial à base d’huile de lin, en évitant surtout toutes les parties métallique pour éviter les tâches très difficiles à récupérer une fois l’huile sèche. Faites de même sur le bois du devant, la longuesse. Si votre crosse en bois est vernis, un simple coup de chiffon avec un produit d’entretien pour meuble suffit. Un très léger coup d’éponge savonneuse sur les traces les plus tenaces suivi d'un rinçage à l'eau donnera un coup d'éclat à vos bois.

У селезня в брачном наряде голова черная, с металлическим блеском, на щеках круглые белые пятна. Спина, бока, шея, живот, надхвостье и подхвостье чисто белые, за исключением узкой черной перемычки около крестца. Крыло одето белыми, черными, бурыми и серыми перьями. Зеркальце белое. Рулевые перья хвоста черно-бурые, клюв черный, лапы оранжевые, глаза красновато-желтые. Зимует гоголь главным образом в пределах нашей страны. Массовые зимовки гоголя можно наблюдать у берегов южного Каспия, в меньшем количестве —на Черном море, на Украине, на Южном Урале и на Алтае. Свои гнезда гоголи устраивают в дуплах деревьев, растущих по берегам водоемов, а кроме того, охотно заселяют искусственные дуплянки и гнездовые ящики, которые накануне прилета птиц вывешиваются на деревьях или устанавливаются на длинных шестах в охотничьих хозяйствах. Соседство с человеком гоголей не пугает. При недостаточном количестве дупел в местах гнездовья между самками гоголя происходят драки за овладение гнездом. Нередко в одном дупле несутся сразу две утки. Наблюдались также случаи совместного устройства гнезда в дупле гоголем и лутком, гоголем и кряквой, а также гоголем и большим крохалем. В этих случаях в гнезде находилось иногда до тридцати яиц, большую часть из которых насиживающая утка не могла прогреть, и из них птенцы не выводились. Выводятся птенцы из яиц в течение 2—3 часов и первые сутки остаются в гнезде, обсыхая под уткой и смазывая жиром свой пуховый наряд. Через сутки утята, обладающие острыми и сильно загнутыми коготками, свободно вылезают из дупла, даже из самого глубокого, и по призыву матери легко прыгают вниз на землю. Такое падение, с высоты иногда более 10 метров, совершенно безвредно для утят благодаря их маленькому росту и легкому весу. Когда все утята выпрыгнут на землю, мать ведет их в укрытые места водоема. Утята прекрасно плавают и отлично ныряют: могут пробыть под водой до двух минут. Примерно в двухмесячном возрасте гоголи начинают летать.

Не потерять статус суперохотника собаке помогают верхнее и нижнее чутье, которые у представителей этой породы развиты одинаково хорошо, врожденная вязкость (настойчивость в преследовании цели и поиска следа) и звонкий лай. Еще одна фишка породы – способность работать по старому следу, что считается высшим пилотажем и дается не всем представителям секции. Если планируете вырастить из питомца полноценного добытчика, а не бесполезного «держателя охотничьего диплома», натаскивать животное лучше не на тренировочных площадках, а в естественных условиях, где и зверь настоящий, а не ошалевший от бесконечного лая четверолапых «учеников», и опасность реальная. Кстати, совершенно не обязательно делать из западно-сибирской лайки «на все лапы мастера». Какой бы замечательно умной ни была собака, она не в состоянии отлавливать для вас сегодня соболя, завтра кабана, а через неделю медведя. Безусловно, исключения имеют место, но это уже врожденный дар, обнаруживающийся лишь у избранных. Степень развития охотничьих инстинктов у западно-сибирских лаек зависит от того, насколько часто собака оказывается в условиях дикой природы. Если привыкли выводить питомца в лес пару раз в сезон, то и не ждите, что он продемонстрирует какие-то сверхспособности. Для правильной лайки выезд на охоту должен быть не праздником, а естественной сменой локации, где животное обязано чувствовать себя так же уверенно, как и в собственном вольере. Кстати, с обучением лучше не затягивать. В 5-6 месяцев щенок уже готов к тому, чтобы периодически прогуливаться с хозяином в лесу, отрабатывая хождение рядом и привыкая к окружающим запахам и звукам. 10-месячных подростков можно начинать знакомить со зверем. Отлично, если в доме уже живет взрослая охотничья собака. В таком случае щенку будет у кого поучиться. И учтите, если к 2 годам западно-сибирская лайка не начнет работать с дичью, потом заниматься с ней будет бессмысленно.

Охота может проводится в светлое время суток способами – из засады, с подхода, с подъезда с маломерных судов (без двигателя или с неработающим двигателем). Разрешается использование гладкоствольного охотничьего оружия и патронов, снаряженных дробью, применение охотничьих собак всех групп, кроме гончих и борзых. Допускается безружейная охота с использованием ловчих птиц. Обращаем внимание, что даже непреднамеренная добыча в процессе охоты дикого животного, не отнесенного к охотничьим, или охотничьего животного, не указанного в охотничьей путевке, чревата серьезными последствиями и может надолго лишить охотника возможности заниматься любительской охотой. Dolphin poo plays 'significant role’ in helping coral reefs survive, says new study. Spinner dolphins, famous for their acrobatic marina displays, have some very special excrement. Their poo has “reef-enhancing nutrients” which are not to be underestimated, a report by Zoological Society London (ZSL) finds. The dolphins are giving threatened coral reefs in the Maldives and Chagos Archipelago a helping hand by pooing in the shallow lagoons. Published this week, the study shows that the amount of nitrogen absorbed by spinner dolphins during their daily commute can improve coral reef productivity and resilience. The species plays a “significant role” in supporting the vulnerable ecosystems in this region and scientists are calling for their protection.

В этой статье мы поговорим об особенностях охоты на змей. Психологически перестроиться сложно, но можно. Классический подход: змея – опасна, мы – жертва. Но можно подойти к этой ситуации и наоборот: мы голодны и опасны, змея – жертва. Чем хороши змеи, как объект охоты? Они водятся в самых разных природных зонах: пустынях, степях, джунглях, тайге, горах. Есть змеи и в открытом море, но их мясо не съедобно, за редким исключением. А вот практически все наземные змеи имеют съедобное мясо. Даже ядовитую змею достаточно обезглавить и мясо можно есть. Не стоит трогать только особенно ярко окрашенных змей, так как такой окрас не зря настораживает – они могут иметь яд в подкожных железах, и есть их нельзя. Важный плюс змей, как части рациона – вкус мяса намного лучше внешности его обладателей… Не деликатес (хотя в странах Азии думают иначе), но будучи поджаренным на углях – мясо змеи даже вкусно. В таких регионах земли, как пустыни, кроме змей и скорпионов – нет больше источников животного белка, а значит и энергии для борьбы за выживание. Значит приходится питаться ими. А вот в джунглях или тайге, вполне можно питаться плодами растений, ягодами и т.п. так как охота отнимает больше сил, при тех же результатах в пересчете на калории.
